Thought Is A Powerful Force
Thought, prayer, meditation, call it what you will, it is a very powerful force. We were talking in one of my groups this morning and one of the ladies' tag lines was, "Home of the FREE, Because of the BRAVE!" Obviously we live in the United States.
I thought, "Yeah, the military everywhere could use a good shot of prayerful intention sent their way right about now with the way things are in our world today." And that reminded me of an experiment that was conducted in Washington, D.C. I'm not sure of the date but I know it was during the summer. Someone told the story in the movie, "What the Bleep Do We Know?"
A group of meditators gathered in Washington and carried out a mass meditation ceremony aimed at reducing crime levels. Sure enough, that summer the crime level dropped by twenty-five percent.
Bringing people together with a single goal in mind creates a great power. Your thoughts can change reality because a thought is the energy that manifests the desire into physical reality. By wanting reality to be one way or another, it seems we can channel our energy to produce the desired outcome.
Consider the possibilities if more and more people took the time to pray, meditate, think about peace on our planet, what we might be able to acheive. Now I know groups hold prayer vigils on the courthouse steps all the time. I'm talking about millions of people here. I'm talking about a complete shift in our way of thinking and acting and doing.
I believe that is what it is going to take to maintain our way of life and our planet as we know it today.
Watch "What the Bleep Do We Know?"
Read "The Celestine Prophecy" books.
Let me know what you think.
