Calming Visualization Exercise

Here’s a calming visualization exercise to try:

Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Take a deep breath. Visualize that the earth beneath you has turned blue, as blue as the sky above. The earth beneath you is blue down as far as you can see.

Now see energy channels opening up on the bottom of your feet. As you inhale, visualize the blue color of the earth filling up your feet. Your breath is drawing the color blue in from the earth like blue-colored Kool-Aid through a straw. As your feet begin to fill with the color blue, you exhale blue air from your lungs through your mouth and nose. And as you exhale this blue air, you feel it carry away tension and fatigue from your body. Tension and fatigue just vanish into the air.

As you continue to breathe in this delicious blue color, it seeps into every muscle, every cell of your ankle, your calf, your knee, your thigh, up to your hip, your stomach, and your chest.

At the same time blue breath is being exhaled from your lungs, carrying away all the stress, all the anxiety, all the tension, and all the fatigue from your body.

The cool blue color is now filling your arms, your shoulders, your neck, your face, and your head. Every bone in your body is full of relaxing, calming blue color.

All the tension and fatigue has left your body. Nothing remains but cool, calm, relaxing, luxurious blue. Bask in the glorious blue color for as long as you like. Then allow it to evaporate from every pore of your body, leaving you feeling relaxed, refreshed, and completely at ease.

Visualization is one technique that uses the power of your mind to help naturally heal your body. Exercises such as this one work best when you are in a relaxed state. Try them during meditation, self-hypnosis, or yoga.

To your Health and Happiness,

Liz

Thanks for visiting my blog and the nice comment, but I do not condone the indiscriminate use of prescription drugs.
