Therapeutic Color Visualization

Color Visualization can be used as a natural and holistic therapy. Researchers have studied color and how it affects our moods and physical bodies. Scientists exposed subjects to specific colors either directly, by light therapy, or by changing the subject’s environment.

Their research showed that color has a profound effect on our health and well-being.

Color can stimulate the endocrine glands, the immune system, and the nervous system. Color can help balance the emotions.

Visualizing color in a specific part of the body can have a therapeutic effect, too, and can be a good stress management tool.

To provide a calming and relaxing feeling, you can visualize the color blue. Blue slows your pulse, breathing, and perspiration. It helps calm your mood.

If you have chronic fatigue, feel tense, anxious, or irritable, or carry a lot of stress, visualizing the color blue can help your body release these feelings.

I have a visualization exercise I will share with you in the next blog.

Wishing you Health and Happiness,

Liz
